Obituary for MaryLouise Collinson

MaryLouise Elizabeth Collinson - (Nee McGillivray)
Our mom/nana passed away peacefully at Dorothy Ley Hospice on Thursday January 19, 2017. She leaves behind her family Leigh, Gary, Rachel, and Tessa Bennett and Jackie, Ken, Alexandra, Clayton, and Liam Platt. MaryLouise will be missed by her brother Alan (Betty). Predeceased by her brothers Doug (Sally) and Bruce and her sister Barbara (Ken). Her nieces and nephews were a very important part of her life and she loved them all dearly. Mom loved to have fun and to be with her family and friends. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed a beer, travel, great music, and a good laugh. Her signature eyelashes were a part of her until the very end. Thank you to everyone for your love and support through this difficult time especially to Kathie Ross, her long time friend. Rest in peace MLC you will be missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, ON. Reception to follow. Private family interment at Holy Cross Cemetery on Tuesday. Donations to The Dorothy Ley Hospice would be appreciated.
