To My Beautiful Family,
I’m so sad that uncle Kevin has passed away but happy to know he is no longer in pain and is with nanny again. We all know she could use some company.
Kevin, you were one of the best uncles! (we can’t forget about Wayner) I’m so happy I made the trip home last year and Daniel got to meet his Great uncle Kevin and spend some time with you. I was hoping that wasn’t my last visit. I remember saying bye and trying my hardest not to cry in front of you, I waited and made Eileen cry with me in the car.
You were such a Happy man, always laughing and cracking jokes about everyone and everything they said. I’ll never forget our family gatherings with all of us just havin a time and you playing the spoons and carrying on. You always seemed to have an extra seat on your knee and gave out more kisses then anyone could handle. Even during your last days your sense of humour was still there. I won’t share what you said to me but everyone knows it was inappropriate and we all laughed. People will ask me were you close to your uncle? All I can think is, it’s the King family. Enough said there! Last weekend I facetimed with you, you were tired but still strong, you sent me my last kiss threw the camera with that saucy grin on your face it made me smile and I will never forget that.
Mom, Wayne and Eileen although the “terrible 4” just lost one, Kevin will always be with you as you carry on carrying on! I wish I was there with everyone today to celebrate Kevin’s life more than anything. We all need to remember that Kevin would want us to share tears of joy and not sorrow. I miss and love you all every day!
Love Always, Moo xo
